How can you say theres more mods and security in IPB it is well known that even the mods for IPB are not that great with rubbish support for them. Take there shoutbox for instance it was crashing dedicated servers because it was holding all the data then at once it was injecting it into the DB and what did creator do nothing and ppl were left getting kicked of there hosting accounts due to it being so bad. And there customer support is terrible for one the way they treated sybot search and destroy was shocking.

phpBB because they have just the right amount of stuff for a great looking forum, and other sites which use phpBB won't evenually be banned from using phpBB's software unlike IPB.

vBulletin took me bloddy long hours to install, that config.php really destroyed my patience...
But with IPB, well, 2 minutes to install, technical support from Invison is great, mods are better than SMF (bloddy SMF arcade, it has corrupt files), and really, most of the forums that are great run IPB. And it's easier on the pocket also.
