Perl, do you know it?

How many of you guys (and girls) know perl?
I can see from the PHP poll that many of you know how to program, but I was wondering if perl was a popular technology ammong syxe users.

I read the book "Beginning Perl" this summer, so I can read it. I can probably write elementary programs with it. If you want to give me some easy challenges Meep, that'd be great.

Dave, sadly you can probably code perl better than I can. For now PHP is my favorite of the two (since I can produce working code with it faster)

Nope I know much php I'm coding my own site. I saw that PERL has the same php commands but in diferrent syntax.
