Hey All,
I am looking for some advice on certain computer certifications that will be affecting my future career. I'm thinking of doing a+ certification and then MCP. I am then hoping that I can find a job that will pay for MCSE training with those credentials. Is that a wise path to go, or should I try something else.
The fact of the matter is, the job I have now has great benefits and all but, will not be able to pay for my future. I am getting married next June and not too long after (Probably a year or so) my fiance and I are planning on starting a family. My current job might be able to pay the bills like electric and such, and even for food and child care, but won't allow for saving for retirement or college.
I have a limited college education and doubt I can afford to go back for a degree at this point in time, so I am looking at different places that do computer certifications. While slightly expensive, these places would prepare me for the A+ tests and other tests needed to get certified. I picked A+ to start with because I know a thing or 2 about computer hardware and such. I recently built this machine from scratch so, I am thinking with a little more technical info I could do well in computer repair and such.
Just my thoughts but, could use advice.
Thanks
